18TH FEBRUARY, 2018 FIRST SUNDAY OF LENT - YEAR B

1.  STATIONS OF THE CROSS
     Stations of the Cross started last Friday. This will be held every Friday during the season of Lent.
The schedule for the Stations of the Cross is as follows:

  St. Joseph’s Cathedral : 12.15 p.m. in Mandarin                                                                                                              
: 5.45 p.m. in English
: 7.30 p.m. in Bahasa Malaysia

Church of Mater Dei, Lutong : 5.30 p.m. in English
: 7.30 p.m. in Iban

St. Anthony of Padua’s Chapel, Tudan : 6.00 p.m. in Bahasa Malaysia

 2.  CONFIRMATION CLASS FOR ADULTS IN BAHASA MALAYSIA
       All adults who wish to receive the Sacrament of Confirmation this May are to attend all the courses.
       Venue :  St. Joseph’s Multi Purpose Hall
       Date    :  Every Monday, starting 19th February  
       Time    :  7.30 p.m.
       Please register at the Joseph’s Parish Office before 18th February.

3.   COMBINED  REQUIEM  MASS
      The Combined Requiem Mass for February is on Friday, 23rd February at 7.00 a.m. at the Cathedral.
      Those who wish to offer Requiem Mass for their deceased loved ones are requested to register at the Parish Office.  Closing date for registration is on Tuesday, 20th February.

 4.  ENGLISH  LENTEN  PRAYER  RETREAT  BY  FATHER GREGORY HON 
     Venue :  St. Francis’s Chapel, Brighton Road
     Date   :  3rd – 4th March 2018
     Contribution Fee :  RM25.00
     You can register at the St. Joseph’s Parish Office, Carmelite Bookshop and CMD Bookshop.

 5.  SUCCESSFUL  MEN, POWERFUL  MANHOOD  CONFERENCE 
     Venue :  St.Columba’s Church Hall
     Date   :  6th March 2018  Time : 8.00 a.m. to 6.00 p.m.
     Entrance Fee :  RM20.00  
     The talks will be in English and Bahasa Malaysia.  For more information please visit the registration table after Mass today.

 6.  LENTEN APPEAL ENVELOPES
         The Lenten Appeal envelopes will be distributed today.   This is to collect funds for the Catholic Welfare Services to serve the poor and needy in the Diocese.  Please give generously.
