All present and past students and teachers are encouraged to attend.
The 7.00 a.m. mass is cancelled on that day.
2. EVENING MASS ON 19TH NOVEMBER
The evening mass on 19th November will be celebrated by Bishop Emeritus Anthony Lee to mark the 40TH Anniversary of his Episcospal Ordination. It will start at 5.00 p.m.
3. CHRISTIAN FAITH AWARENESS SEMINAR IN BAHASA MALAYSIA
Venue : Church of Mater Dei, Lutong
Date : 25th November 2017 Time : 8.00 a.m. – 6.30 p.m.
This seminar is organised by Borneo Care and the Diocese of Miri to create awareness on the issue of Islamization in Sarawak. All are highly encouraged to join. Please register after mass.
4. CATARACT FINDER COMMUNITY PROJECT
This is organized by the Miri General Hospital to identify poor people who need cateract surgery to restore their vision. The Society of St. Vincent de Paul is helping to conduct eye screening for cataracts. Please check the notice board or bulletin for the schedule.
5. REGISTRATION FOR CATHOLIC KINDERGARTENS FOR 2018
St. Joseph Kindergarten and Tadika Sri Cahaya are now open for registration for 2018 for all children born in 2012, 2013 and 2014. In 2018, if there is sufficient interest, we will also open new afternoon classes for 5 & 6 year olds. For further information please check the notice board or bulletin.
6. SILENT RETREAT IN CARMELITE SPIRITUALITY WITH FR. GREGORY HON Venue : East Wood Valley Golf & Country Club
Date : Friday, 8th December to Sunday, 10th December
This is a strictly stay-in retreat in English.
Closing date is the 26th November. You may register at the Parish Office or Carmelite Bookshop.
7. CHRISTMAS CAROLLING
Christmas carolling forms are available at the entrance of the church. Do fill one and drop it in the box if you wish to have Christmas carolling at your home. You may also contact the person stated in the form. Closing date is 4th December.
8. HLS Exhibition
Human Life Service is holding an exhibition at the Church of Mater Dei on 3rd December.
There will be sales and other attractions throughout the day. All are invited.

The Ordo 2018 is now available at all Church’s Bookshop @RM5.00 per copy.
10. CHRISTMAS PARADE T-SHIRT
Please collect your Tshirts after Sunset and Sunday mass next week. Kindly go according to the mass you placed your order stated on your receipt. Please bring your receipt for verification.
