15TH JANUARY, 2017 SECOND SUNDAY OF ORDINARY TIME – YEAR A

1.   BIBLE STUDY IN LUTONG
       We will be running “The Prophets – Messengers of God’s Mercy” bible study starting from 16th
       January for 10 weeks.  For further details, please refer to the church notice board.

2.   COMBINED  REQUIEM  MASS
      The Combined Requiem Mass for January is on Friday, 20th January at 7.00 a.m. at the
      Cathedral.  Those who wish to offer Requiem Mass for their deceased loved ones are
 requested to register at the Parish  Office. Closing date for registration is on Tuesday, 17th January.

3.   COMBINED PRAYER SERVICE FOR CHRISTIAN UNITY WEEK
      This year, the combined prayer service to mark Christian Unity Week will be organised by our
       Church.
       Venue  :   St Dominic and the Rosary Church, Taman Tunku
   Date     :   Friday, 20th January, 2017
 Time     :   7:30 p.m.

 Please come and pray for unity and peace among the Churches.

4.   NATURAL FAMILY PLANNING COURSE  IN  ENGLISH

      Venue   :   Conference Room, St. Joseph’s Parish
      Date      :   Saturday, 21st January, 2017      
      Time      :   8.00 a.m. to 12.30 p.m.

      Please register at the Parish Office.

5. CATECHETICAL SUNDAY
Next Sunday, 22 January is Catechetical Sunday. We will have blessing in the Mass for all catechetical teachers, Sunday School Teachers, RCIA faciliators, and Pre-Confirmation Facilitators.
Please refer to the Church Notice board for the blessing at the various churches.

7. BISHOP AND PRIESTS’ CHINESE NEW YEAR OPEN HOUSE
After the Chinese New Year Mass, all parishioners are welcome to our Bishop and Priests’ Chinese New Year Open House at the St. Jospeh’s Parish Multi-Purpose Hall from 9.30 a.m. to 12.30 p.m. Parishioners who wish to donate oranges, cakes, cookies and others, kindly contact the parish office.
